Zaki Boulos, born to Palestinian parents, has embarked on several careers. He began his career as a sound engineer (over 10 years) but broke his career to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science. At university, he rekindled his activism post-911, joining the SOAS Palestine Society, and eventually, got a job working with Arab Media Watch. After a few years, he went to Beirut, his place of birth, and joined AUB, working as Communications Manager for the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs. He returned to London, lending his editing (academic)/writing/technical skills as a freelancer for organizations including Al-Shabaka, Makan, Palestine Open Maps for Visualizing Palestine, UNDP COP27, LSE, The Middle East Council (Qatar), PhD theses and journal articles, and private companies.
