Hazem Abu Helal

Al-Shabaka Policy Member Hazem Abu Helal is a political, social and human rights activist. He holds a BA in law from the University of Jerusalem and a higher diploma in NGO Management from Birzeit University. Hazem has contributed to founding a number of Palestinian civil institutions, youth groups and campaigns involved in political and social issues in Palestine and the Arab world. He has worked with several civil institutions on youth and education issues in Palestine and as a facilitator and trainer on gender, human rights, advocacy, and life skills for youth.
