Anas Iqtait is Senior Lecturer in Political Economy and Global Development at the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies at the Australian National University. His research focuses on the political economy of the Middle East, including governance and fiscal policy of the Palestinian Authority, economic relations, and geoeconomics of the region. He is the author of Funding and the Quest for Sovereignty in Palestine (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022) and a non-resident scholar at the Middle East Institute in Washington. He previously worked in Palestine with OCHA, Oxfam, and the Korean International Cooperation Agency.
