Rawan Damen is Director-General of Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ). She has over 25 years of experience in television and digital production, including producing and directing more than 30 hours of documentaries, among them the award-winning Al Nakba series. She previously served as a senior commissioning producer at Al Jazeera for a decade, overseeing more than 250 documentary and investigative episodes, and led the development of the innovative digital platform Palestine Remix. She holds an MA in Media and Communication from the University of Leeds and a BA in Media and Sociology from Birzeit University.
