Khalil Hindi is a Palestinian academic and engineer born in Tantura. He served as President of Birzeit University from 2010 to 2015 and previously as Professor of Management Science at the Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut. He held professorships in engineering and management science at the University of Manchester, South Bank University, and Brunel University over three decades in the United Kingdom. He writes occasionally on Arab and Palestinian affairs.
