Al-Shabaka is delighted to announce the appointment of its new Palestine-based Policy Fellow Nur Arafeh.

Nur’s policy brief on Jerusalem was published earlier this year, and she is currently co-authoring a brief on Israeli obstacles to the development of the Palestinian information technology sector.
Al-Shabaka takes this opportunity to thank its first-ever Policy Fellow, Tariq Dana, who is moving into a full-time academic position. Tariq’s policy brief on corruption will be published later this month; he previously tackled the problems of Palestinian capitalism and civil society. We would also like to thank the Heinrich Boell Stiftung for its collaboration in and support of the Al-Shabaka policy fellow program.
