Sami Miaari is Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Labor Studies at Tel Aviv University. His research focuses on labor economics, the economic causes and consequences of conflict, discrimination against ethnic minorities, and economic inequality. He has held visiting appointments at Yale University and Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government, and has served as a consultant to the World Bank, IMF, USAID, and the Bank of Israel. He is founder and chairman of the Arab Economic Forum, an institute dedicated to economic and social research and policy advocacy for the Arab community in Israel.
